Hey guys I wanted to make some primarchs for me and a friend of mine and wanted them epic scale 6 inches seemed right. I need to get some pratice in and never really played with clay/green stuff much before other then a few things here and there with green stuff.

Since I belive in baptism by fire I went and bought some polymer clay to make the orginal model before I cast it out of resign. Here is some pics the legs are about 80% done. Still need to harden them up sand paper them down then add some final detail.

Here is some pics of what I did so far pure polymer clay.

Any advice would be nice but this is my first time with clay and ovbioulsy primarch's

I need to go to work every day.

I think you might want to use the clay only for the form and then use greenstuff for all of the details...clay can tend to be somewhat gritty and difficult to pull off fine detail with on a 6 inch scale...it's also very bulky, but I think ill reserve judgment on that until I see the finished product

Hey I was worring about that aswell but since this is a test model I will just finish it up and see .

I already cast it in a mold so I thought wth I will paint this one quickly to see how it looks.

I think it is turning out pretty good for a first time clay modeler and primarch lol BUT i am also probly tooting my own horn a bit.
