I have 10 unbuilt ork nobz and I was thinking of doing the following upgrades;
-3x power klaws
-2x big choppas
-1x shoota/skorcha combi weapon
-3x choppas and sluggas
-1x painboy
-10x cyborg bodies
-2x boss poles

Total points; 380

Do you think that it is too many points for 1 unit. And do you think they would be effective and worth the points?

It is a pretty pricey unit, it'll be hard to kill mind, but it doesn't look like it'd pack too much of a punch. Maybe trim it down, or can you split it into smaller units?
Also, for future reference, I'm pretty sure this in either Army Lists, or Tactics.

If you have the modaling chops turn um into bikers instead. THose guys are dead killy

Waaagh banner is a must! And id take more than 1 kombi weapon, also make sure you put kombi skorchas on the models with 2 handed or unweildy weapons so you dont waste any attacks.

Here's what I run:

Warboss - Power Klaw, 'Eavy Armor, Cybork Body, Bospsole, and (sometimes) a Kombi-Skorcha - 110

Nobz X8 - Painboy, 8 Cybork Bodies, 3 Big Choppas, 2 Power Klaws, WAAAGH! Banner = 310

I also like to stick them in a Battlewagon, which is a pain to blow up, and they can then take the explosion very well.

Are you running them with the 6+ armour or heavy 4+? because if they're light on armour sticking them in a transport is a good Idea for protecting those points.
