Subject: mounted leg bits? for IG converted cavalry?

I'm currently working on a side project of Imperial Guard rough riders that use fantasy Cold one mounts instead of actual rough rider models...this is in part because I don't think mongolian models will blend well with my cadian dudesmen and in part because what is cooler than having cavalry mounted on velociraptors? nothing, thats what
But i have run into one major problem....Gamesworkshop doesn't sell sprues of mounted legs.....
they sell sprues of mounts but no way to make the guys that ride on them....
and I've found that almost no one does, if anyone....I can't find mounted legs that would easily match the look of cadian infantry.....
The bits from the empire command box might work, but they seem to be hard to come by one ebay....
does anyone else know of where I can find mounted legs that don't have armor that screams fantasy?

Just do what i did, carefully cut Cadian legs and with a little green stuff you can have them on cold ones. When painted up you will hardly be able to tell.Check out my Catachan rough riders and you will see what i mean.Best of luck to you and give me a shout when you are up and running.

For mine I used the standard Cadian legs, saw off the legs at the knees, half the waist, then GS the joints back and hide faults with equipment and weapons.
I have some pics of mine, but I'm afraid they're undercoated and you might not be able to see how I've modeled them.

all right, thanks guys, I guess that will probably be the simplest way to do things.
I'll have to get around to uploading pics when they're done (as well as pics of the other 2/3 of my army that isn't photographed yet haha)

I look forward to seeing them!
Just remember to blutac the riders first, just to make sure they look right, I had to pull one apart that looked like he had piles.
