Hi everyone,

I'm trying scale tests to determine which of those two tanks would make the best chassis for a "scratch built" chaos Rhino, after which I'll saw the cannon then start adding plating, spikes, a turret and the like.

I'd be grateful for opinions as to which model is better suited and what types of additions I could make to it!

Edit : It won't look much the same after I've added lots of daemonic stuff and rebuilt some parts with cardboard and greenstuff, so don't worry about the look itself, it's the scale that matters.

The tracks on the red one look like they'd work well as Rhino tracks but beyond that neither looks like a good fit.

I'd go with the green one.

I can see either of those working well for a weapons platform. Something like a predator or a whirlwind.

Having said that, I can't see either working too well for a rhino/razorback. This is due to its height primarily. Just looks too shallow of a vehicle for 10 - ten foot super armored mutant men.

I'd go for the green one personally. Double the height of the hull, raise the first and last wheels to give a better track profile, and your almost there.

I think the red one looks just a little too small to make it as even a Rhino, but that may just be me.

The green one. You should post the finished result on here for us to see, I'm very interested in checking out how it turns out

The green one. The red one is far to small to (hypothetically) fit 10 CSMs. I'd love to see the finished model...

So I'll go for green, and convert the whole a lot with possibly some sort of Nurgle-style platform on top of the whole. My goal wasn't to make it similar to a Rhino, just the right scale to start making a "count as" Daemon engine out of it, perhaps using WFB Empire or Chaos War Altar bits.

Suggestions are welcome.

Edit: Oh, and I'll definititely post the final image when I'm done. It's mean to look "lore-friendly" with the rest of my Deathguard army.
