Happy New Year-

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Quake City Rumble 2013 registration is now open.
QCR this year will be the weekend of July 12th to July 14th at Fort Mason, San Francisco.

The Quake City Rumble is the largest Warhammer Fantasy Tournament on the West Coast.

We have 112 spots available. Registration information can be found at http://www.leadership2.org/content/4781-2013-qcr-information#registration. Remember, the first sixty people who register and pay will get a free 2013 QCR Commemorative Pint Glass, as well as all the beer they can drink until our beer runs out. Also, as usual, your spot is not secured until payment is received. We have sold out in less than 30 days the last three years, so get your money in ASAP to secure your spot.

I am excited to be part of QCR for my fourth year and this should be another successful event.

A full post of the rules can be found on Tournament Rules http://www.leadership2.org/content/4781-2013-qcr-information#rules but some highlights:
• 8th Edition, plus official GW Errata
• 2500 points
• All armies allowed. Chaos Dwarfs will use the Forgeworld rules from Tamurkhan. WoC will not be allowed to take Chaos Dwarfs as allies. Other units found in the book may be taken as appropriate but we ask that you run it by myself or Derek first.
• No special/named characters.

We will once again be running a Gladiator event on Friday night. Last year’s event proved to be highly popular and Josh and I are working on some updated rules.

That’s it for now. If you want more information feel free to visit our website at Quake City Rumble 2013 or shoot me an email. We’ll have more announcements and updates to make as the date gets closer.

It has been less than a week since registration for the Quake City Rumble has opened and we are already at 95 registered participants. For those unfamiliar with QCR, some highlights on what makes this event so popular.

-QCR is the largest Warhammer Fantasy event on the West Coast.

-It is held IN San Francisco, making it one of the few major GTs actually held within a major metropolitan city, as opposed to a suburb. Bring your family and send them off to visit the top tourist destination in the US while you play with little toys!

-The venue is the historic Fort Mason. Fort Mason is located on San Francisco Bay between Aquatic Park and Marina Green. It features stunning views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Friday night features “Off the Grid”-a mobile gourmet food extravaganza and Sunday hosts a Farmers market. To top it off, parking is very reasonable.

-QCR is infamous for its free flowing beer served by a Beer Wench. For those with a QCR Pint glass, the beer is free until we run out.

More information can be found at http://www.leadership2.org/content/4781-2013-qcr-information

With spots filling up quickly, get your registration in soon.
