Hi, this is a 1500 point game of my eldar/Dark eldar vs imperial guard in a game of the scourging with hammer and anvil deployment. I'm trying out a list i haven't really used before, a WraithStar style one. It has some interesting results.

Hope you enjoy.

Executing Exarch

The Twilight Zone

Good report.

Your baron would not have run off the board, he would have stopped at the edge. Not exactly sure where that is in the book, but it is somewhere.

Rangers dissapoint me as well. I usually run 10 guardians with a scatter laser. Same cost, but they can actually do stuff like kill armor(and instagib heavy weapon teams). Rangers are basically made to go to ground and not die, but that's about it...

If your running reapers, the exarch is the name of the game. A tempest launcher+crack shot murders infantry, or an EML+fast shot for AT(and anti infantry with 2 plasma missile blasts). It would be worth it to take 3 bodies over 4 to make it the exarch.

Sucks not getting first turn with the baron...I failed to go first for a while once I started using him, but once you get first fortune negates most everything.

Looking forward to the next one!
