Im just starting WH40K, and I decided to play Necrons for their fluff value. Im creating an army list, and Im going to place my HQ Trazyn the Infinite in a CCB. My question is this, can he then join a unit while in the barge? Or would he have to be outside of it?(destroyed or disembarked) Thanks for the help, Im glad to finally find a place I can post all my questions.

Welcome to 40k. I don't have the Necron Codex but the codices usually tell you how you can attach squads. For example with my Orks I can attach nobz to a warboss and mount them in a Battlewagon (transport) and a lot of HQ/characters in other races can do that too (Eldar farseer with warlock council mounted in a wave serpent). As long as the Vehicle Capacity can hold the models you want.
