Hello, dakka! I wanted to open up this thread to discuss books on the 40k universe. If one like it exists somewhere I didnt find it when I skimmed for one so mods can move it to the appropriate place. So far I have only read the two Space Wolves Omnibi and really enjoyed them. Does anybody know if any followon books have come out for these? Also please reccomend any other books or omnibi any of you all have read and enjoyed. I just ordered the battle of the fang so it should be here in around a month. Also, at the NEX here the book 'Salvation's Reach' is available but no other 40k books, is this one worth the buy having not read any of the other books in the series? Will it lose some of its power from not having the prior story?

I've found the Gaunt's Ghost series to be pretty enjoyable, some highs and lows through the whole thing, I would strongly suggest you start from the beginning though instead of jumping in on the 13th novel. Dan Abnett does pull from previous stories to help set tone and story for the current book he's writing so having the back ground information can help alleviate a lot of confusion, plus I think it helps get more invested into the story if you have read the previous ones.
