So I'm sure everyone, (or most everyone) from time to time looks at other armies and say, why not. I'll try them out. well I did this exactly, and bought about half company of space marines. Now I play csm strictly but I decided to switch sides. I Wanted to play as the protectors of humanity, the light in the dark, the rock that beats back the storm.

I want to know if anyone had an Idea on what I should name them, paint them up as, and MOST SPECIFICALLY, how to best use them.

Well what play style are you trying to get at? With marines you can make virtually any type of army.

I like the story of the salamanders, and I want more specifically to run the lads like the salamanders, but I don't want to *be* salamanders, I'd like some sort of lee way, maybe a successor (claimant)
