This is me ranting.

So, Imperial Guardsmen shooting lasguns, range 24".

Shoots, oh look, can't wound everyone.

*Next Turn* Assault.

*Cry*

Wait, there's actually a possible situation where you could have guardsmen shooting with only lasguns?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I can go several games without remembering to shoot my lasguns. Usually I only bother to do so if my plasma guns have failed

Get 4 wounds on terminators only to have them all pass their 5++? Lasgun time!

Naaa na na na-na-na-naaa.

Na-na-na-naaaaa.

Hey Jude.

Poorly disguised troll is obvious. Need some more time at troll school. Hang around 4chan for a while then try again.

We didn't even get a FAQ for January. We're one of the few that received no update whatsoever.

Also, lasguns CAN kill things.

it's just that you only have a 1/18 chance of killing a space marine with them

WAIT!

All of my guardsman have LC in them.

This means they can wound up to 48".

Problem avoided.

No idea what this is about. I don't even cry when I put conscripts on the board.

I just call for more.

He's whining about the change in the main rulebook FAQ where you can now only allocate wounds to models that were in range of someone who was firing.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!
