Sign ups just went live for the 4th round of the Atlanta 40k Series. This is a pretty competitive event in the Atlanta area and it has a great turn out everytime (the 3rd round had 28 entrants). Pop onto our forums to add your name and then call the store or email to prepay and confirm your place. The slots usually fill up within a week, so hurry!
This is an event not to be missed if you are an Atlanta area 40k player!

We will start registration at 8:30AM. First game will begin at 9:00AM. 2.5 hour rounds. 30 minute lunch break between Rounds 1 and 2.

2000 points (NOT "1999+1")

All the 6th Edition Rules:
* 2 FOC? If that's what you need.
* Allies? Sure.
* Fortifications? How else do you plan to shoot down flyers?
* Warlord traits? Yep.
* Alternating terrain placement? You betcha.
* Mysterious Terrain? Water and forests, yes. Don't you love razorwings?!?

Plus, the "40k" Forge World models, characters, and variant army lists are legal. This includes the "Horus Heresy" Legion lists.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU WISH TO USE A FORGEWORLD/IMPERIAL ARMOR ARMY LIST, YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR ROSTER TO THE JUDGES -- IN ARMY BUILDER FORMAT -- AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. E-mail them to: atlanta40kcircuit@gmail.com.

Updated Series rules are available on the Series website at: http://www.atlanta40kseries.com/rules.html

Missions are going through a final proof now and will be available on the Series website shortly. I will post an announcement (and link) once they are available.

3 rounds. 20 player maximum (but we will increase this number if the pre-paid list fills).

UPDATE: Entry fee will be $20 ($15 for Rolling Bones Club members), with a swag item for all players.

You must pre-pay to reserve your spot for the tournament. Merely posting on the forum does not get you onto the final list!

For prepayment, please send paypal to gigabitescafe@yahoo.com, or call the store with a CC - 770-578-1497

There will be Prizes and ribbons for:
* First Overall
* Second Overall
* Third Overall
* Favorite Opponent
* Best Painted

Here is the quick summary of how the prize winners are determined:

OVERALL is the total of Battle Points (up to 30 per round) + Mandatory Paint (up to 10 points) + Best Painted Votes (Maximum 5) + Sportsmanship (up to 15). Top 3 will receive prizes and ribbons.

FAVORITE OPPONENT is the same as before (except the points that it contributes to overall has been decreased slightly).

BEST PAINTED is by player vote.

MANDATORY PAINT is an objective check-box scale:
* 50%+ of the army is painted with 3 or more colors = 1 Point
* 100% of the army is painted with 3 or more colors = 2 Points
* 50%+ of the army is based = 1 Point
* 100% of the army is based = 2 Points
* Army is 100% painted and 100% based = 2 Points
* Army has a coherent theme (if allies are used, they must either be in-theme with the main army or completely in-theme in-and-of themselves) = 2 Points.

Just an update, the first 20 spaces are just about filled. We will usually expand it up to 30, but they also fill incredibly fast.
