So im looking to make different flight stands for my UCM army (well, my future UCM army) and wanting to attack models to the sropships, through either magnets or natural fit. So what I would like to see/build, is a flight stand in a "gallows" or "7" shape, connected (removable) via a brass rod into an engine.
My question is, to anyone with experience working with acrylic, should I construct it from difference peices and glue it together, or is it better to bend/heat the rods to fit?

Any help appreciated.

Ta muchly.
