I've got 4 Vendettas and 3 Valkyries to store and tote.

But I've got a few questions. Which bag could I use with those trays? From what I can tell, it looks like only the PACK AIR will work, but only 2 trays to a
bag! That get's pricey, quick.

I like some of the KR stuff I've seen too, but it's usually 1 to a box, which gets even more expensive with 7!

I appreciate any input or experience anybody may have with storing or transporting these beasts!

From what little I've looked around, I'm not sure there is a *good* deal. There's just no cheap and secure way to store those odd shapes. Not that I've found, yet.

If you can find some way to make the winds detachable, you can reclaim a lot of wasted space by doing a custom shape for the fuselage and store the wings sideway in a separate cutout.

Otherwise, Bonecrusher 6 is right.

If you had a word with KR they could advise you if it is possible to get 2 Valks in one multicase be it pick n pluck or a custom tray.

I know from recent experience their Valk tray has room for 4 chimeras/LR chassis and a stack of troops, so plenty of spare room in there. This is bound to be a question they have been asked before.

With wings detached I found a padded tool case at Harbor Freight (www.harborfreight.com/) that carries three perfectly. They sit front to back in the case with some foam on the sides between the Vendetta and the wing.

I have a similar amount of vendetta / valks / vultures.......the KR detachable wing case is good because you can also fit the flight stands in..... works well to be honest

I'm also looking at the double wide 4" trays from Sabol. 2 of them are a few bucks cheaper than the BF tray
I linked. The biggest plus if I go that route is the fact that I have 2 Armored company bags and 2 motor pool
bags already. The biggest downside of the BF tray is I'm going to have to invest in new bags to fit it.

Are you doing detachable wings? I went that way for both of my Stormravens, and it makes a huge difference.

3 of the 4 Vendettas are detachable.
All of the Valks have attached wings.

From KR's IG custom tray page:
IG11: Valkyrie or Vendetta or Vulture, Flight stand, 2 Chimera/ Leman Russ, 2 HWT and 2 Sentinels or 2 more HWT
IG10: Valkyrie or Vendetta or Vulture, Flight stand, 4 Chimera/ Leman Russ and 20 troops....
IG17: 2 Valkyrie or Vendetta or Vulture (removable wings), both flight stands,and 20 troops....

The IG11 is 3/4 height, to fit another tray in the box, for ~50 troops.
I got the IG10, and the troops inset tray is a bit odd (some strangely shaped holes) but works well.

So, they so 2 sets for a Valk per box, and 1 set for 2 Valks with wings removed.

A canvas case for 3 boxes of IG17 (6 Valks) comes out at $219.99.
