Hi!

I'm a player of 40k wishing to begin my journey into the Apocalypse world. However, I've seen several versions of the Apocalypse rulebooks and I'm not quite sure which is the most updated/complete version of it. GW official site sells a 200 pages one, while Forge World sells Imperial Armor Apocalypse II. I've also seen several mentions of Apocalyspe Reloaded, which I didn't find for sale on the official websites. Can someone bring some light on this for me?

Thanks!

+ GW's Apocalypse book is the official rulebook, with rules, superheavies, and formations. That's the one you need, since it has the core Apocalypse rules. Also check the Apocalypse FAQ on the Games Workshop website, as Apocalypse was written for 4th edition and the FAQ has the rules patches needed to play it in 6th edition.

+ GW's Apocalypse Reload is a softcover expansion, with more units and formations. I believe that it is now OOP.

+ Forgeworld's Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition, and Imperial Armour Apocalypse II are, like Reload, expansions that offer more units and formations.

Is the option to make your own units still available?

Think of something clever to say.

Not really.

Also, you will need to use the Forge World appoc update to use Appoc in 6th edition. Avaliable for free from the FW website. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/Product/PDF/a/apoc6thupdate.pdf
