Been trying to come up with a good list for an Italian campaign me and some friends are putting together this summer. So far the only list to really strike me as good is the armored panzer grens, as my usual panzerkompanie has been figured out by my opponents. Haven't played panzergrens before so I'll chalk up a mediocre first list to inexperience

Aiming for 1000pts to start, with an expansion to 2000 by the end of the campaign

Gepanzerte Panzergrenadierkompanie HQ - 2 Panzerknacker SMG teams w. halftracks - 80

Gepanzerte Panzergrenadier Platoon - 3 squads and panzerknacker - 235
Gepanzerte Panzergrenadier Platoon - 3 squads and panzerknacker - 235

Panzer Platoon - 2 Ausf M, 2 Ausf N - 450
Total 1000pts

Final list could add stuff along these lines

Switch out Ausf N's for 1 Ausf M and 1 Ausf G. Add schurzen to Ausf M's - 55

Heavy Panzerspah Patrol - 2 8 Rad - 85
Armored Artillery Battery - 3 Wespes - 270
Light AA Platoon - Sd Kfz 10/5 - 95

Thoughts or suggestions are appreciated

I'd buy the Marders and the heavy car patrol now and leave the tanks for later. They're too many points for a 1k army.
