Hey Guys,

Here are some shots of a necron army I'm working on, they are getting there and should be finished over the weekend.

I'll be putting them in the swap shop when they are done and on ebay, so if you want a list of what's included let me know!

Looks good. Old rusting Necrons.

If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!

I really like these. What color is that for the main bits? The greenish grey color?

To be honest first I thought I was looking at bare plastic.

Quality of painting is really good the scheme just doen't pop out. Personally I would use a more darker green (start from darker while working towards the green you have now, or make the gray slightly darker) and be a bit more liberal with the brown rust. Lords look much better than the vehicles. Immortals are in between.

Now that I've had looked closer to it might be just the lighting.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Cheers, the lighting does wash out the contrast a little. I am thinking of possibly adding a dark purple to the models to offer a little more interest to the scheme.

Will update this post as more things happen!

Thanks

I find it subtle and strikingly appealing. The issues some people might be having may have something to do with the monitors they view it from (they tend to distort and fade out colors). I can see that as my system uses multiple monitors.

I would actually advice against adding anything else. I looks marvelous.

On the technical side, what hues did you use?

Thanks alot! I'm going to complete the army as is, I feel the basing may add the extra dimension the models seems to be lacking at the moment.

As for technical elements I tend to just go with the colours I feel will work, so I apologise I am not great at explaining Hues and such.

The main green/grey colour is P3 Cryx Bane Highlight over the model after they have been preshaded. Hope that helps you out UnCool.
