I wouldn't mix them in the same unit, but otherwise, it's your army. There's no particular reason why Khorne and Nurgle cultists wouldn't work together if they needed to.

It's very much a matter of opinion. Some will only tolerate single power forces, others will mix if they believe the powers are compatible and some will mix freely.

In the fluff Nurgle and Tzeentch are enemies and Khorne and Slaanesh. This was absolutely cast iron canon years ago but has really receded back into the darkness and all chaos army books allow a free-for-all mix.

Basically it is up to you, your army, as long as you stick the the tules then you can do as you please!

I'd just do one HQ if the army's under 1000 points. It really depends on your play style and what else you plan on running besides cultists. If you wanted to run an army of cultists only, then your options are really limited. A sorcerer might be able to fill a hole if you don't have heavy support or fast attack, but he won't do it well on his own. Kharne can bolster a weak HtH unit like cultists (assuming he's allowed to join them in the first place), but he isn't likely to win t he game on his own.

If you like fluff pick a cult you like and run with it. If you want to win games put the most efficient mark on efficient units. If you want to do both. Paint and model your guys to a certain cult and still give him a mark that makes them good in a game. Who cares.

I need to return some video tapes.

Yall have helped alot i was thinking of having typhus so my cultists are zombies and a chaos lord with the mark of korne so they are troops, and sending two squads of ten plague in rhinos to take objectives and a land raider with 9 khorne with the lord to assault the enemy, the zombiies will sit on the home objectives. and im building a 2500 point army.
