Adepticon has posted a few rules changes which will apply to this tournament:

Rules Modification (Psykers): All Psykers may use ONE Warp Charge per game turn. Psykers may exchange powers as normal.

Rules Modification (Flyers/Reserves): At the start of your Turn One, you must roll a D6 for each Flyer being held in reserve. If the roll is 3 or more, the Flyer and all embarked units arrive at the start of your following turn. Flyers and all embarked units will automatically arrive at the start of Turn Five. Example: On Turn Three, a Necron Night Scythe with troops makes a successful Reserve Roll - they will arrive on Turn Four. There is no need to make a Reserve Roll at the beginning of Turn Four, as all remaining Flyers and embarked units will automatically show up at the beginning of Turn Five.

There will be four awards for the tournament.
Best Overall - Highest Total Points
Best General - Highest Battle Points
Best Appearance - Highest Appearance Score
Best Sportsman - Highest Sportsmanship Score

Prizes: Each award will be accompanied by a Rockhead's Gift Certificate. The amount of each Gift Certificate will be based on the number of folks who participate in the tournament.

Exciting News!

Rockhead's Comics & Games has gotten the green light from the last round of inspectors on the new building. This means that the tournament will be held at the new location, which is one block from the old one. We are encouraging everyone to come out on Saturday to not only play in the first ever tournament in the new building, but also to check out the new, much larger store.

The tournament is this Saturday. The tournament will begin at 11 am, with doors opening about 15 minutes before 11 am.

A couple of folks have asked if I can lift the painting requirement for the tournament. Since this is a primer, players can bring unpainted models, but everything must be WYSIWYG. No proxies or such. Anyone fielding unpainted models will obviously not be eligible for the Best Appearance award.
