Hi guys,
Just wandering if you can use the plasma/meltaguns from the SM 'bitz' section on IG guardsmen.
I wasn't sure as the guns have SM gloves holding them.

I can see it now....Nids are now a collection of autonomous hive fleets there are multiple Hive Minds and they all war with one another in addition to everyone else. They speak to humans using telepathy, and they can now ally with Space Wolves as battle brothers, because reasons.
Tyranids talking to humans would be like you talking to your mashed potatoes or the probiotic in your kiefer drink. It is neither possible nor productive.
Inside my mind I pinched my nipples and savored his bitter silence.

yeah I've got around 15 of the meltaguns that I'm saving for various projects. Even the metal ones aren't that hard to work with. Depending on the model I either cut the hand off or just leave it on, usually looks fine either way.

I use the SM weapons quite often with IG troops, they actually look better than the bulky weapons the actual IG gunners are modeled with.

I found that the arm that holds the flamer on the guardsman sprue works really well for the marine weapons, using the left arm from the gl to fit.

Just knock the hands and stocks off. Put them into the arms of guys holding grenade launchers that you're never going to use. Done and done.
