Just another Infinity stat card project. At the moment I have a base for each faction done, now its just a matter of swapping in the unit logos, image and text for each unit.
I have a big image with all of the cards on my deviant art here - http://fox-light713.deviantart.com/#/d5tc4td

I think I've seen it in other products, but yours is the first that made me realize the colour change for the range bands. Those are very nice.
If I could just get more PanO out of this...

I got the idea from a user on the Infinity forums that did a set of cards in french and used a color range for the weapon ranges because putting the full Range line would take up a lot of room. So just used the Maximum range in each range. example...
Rifle - 0-8/0 | 8-16/+3 | 16-24/-3 | 24-48/-6 (this is a long line and a lot of info to put on the card)
Where instead you can used a color code and table to show the color translation it shortens up the line so you can fit more stuff on the card.
range table 0 | +3 | -3 | -6
Rifle - 8 | 16 | 24 | 48

To start up the template then get the aesthetics for each faction yes. I think I'm 12+ hours just to get those first one's done.
I'm glad everyone is liking them so far! Automatically Appended Next Post: Small update -
I decided to slightly change the Rules card a little bit. Where instead of showing the Icons and text for the Movement properties of the unit (regular, irregular, ect) I'm just going to have it typed out to open up more room for the shorthand rules. Below is the new Mirage 5 card to show the change. Much more room for rules and the movement properties for the unit is still very readable.

im not so sure on the little box on each picture, but it doesnt detract from the card itself so its a (very) small niggle....really impressive work overall

But since you now have a good template running, you'll be able to bang them out faster, one would assume?

Yup, its just a matter of plugging in the right text, numbers and images, then double and triple checking for correctness and spelling errors. Automatically Appended Next Post: Revenent Reiko wrote:Looks great foxlight!

Its originally from the YuJing hacker holos that I edited, I decided to leave the smaller box in because it kinda looked like and "analyzing" type thing that you some times see in sci-fi holo displays.

I'm using Photoshop CS6 (depending on what CS version you have depends on how backwards compatible each version is to all the previous versions are) to make the cards So I have things separated into layers related to the specific item where I can go in and edit selected text i have on separate layers. Like per say on card 1 side A ( the one with the stat line and portrait image) the Unit logo, Faction logo, and sectorial logo(s) are on separate layers and in separate groups. For example the Mirage 5 card 1 side A (IE. the face image with the portrait stat lines and such) has 12 groups each ranging from 1 to about 20 layers each.
However the Shorthand rules I could defiantly used help with. The base idea for the short hand rules is to use at max 2 to 3 very short sentences for each rule shortening them as much as I can. Most Ammunition can be discriped in one sentence ex. Armor Piercing ( AP) - 1/2 ARM value on ARM rolls to a minimum of 1 arm. Round up, only effects Armor. Where on the other hand rules like Super Jump are fairly complex, but I feel like (when used in tandem with a rule book) describes the rule fairly well. Where some of the simple rules like CH: Camouflage can be "-3 to enemy BS and Discovery rolls" which is simple and very straight to the point.. While doing these rules I have to keep in mind that it has to fit within a 2.5 inch by 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch space using either a 6 point or 5 point font.

Once I finish the Ariadna one's I'll be moving on to the next faction which will probably be Mercs and Tohaa because they have less than half of what Ariadna has in terms of number of cards to do. Though Don't worry I will be doing this for All the factions.

It could be me, but only the first few of those links worked and the rest gave errors. Can you confirm if I'm right about that?
I also want to say that I think these are bloody fantastic. I'm a big fan of unit cards in miniatures games. I created an entire line of them for Dust Warfare before I ever played the game. I want that convenience, and wish more miniatures companies would provide it. That said, great people like yourself are doing the heavy lifting.
Do you have a PSD template you would consider sharing for people like myself that would be up for working on their own units?

Ahh, sorry I think I may have updated files for some small corrections and I'm using post #22 for the Ariadna cards so that might be it., and Thank you!

Ahhh ok, its not a problem, and i was totally thinking it was some sort of scanning/analysing thingy so i can easily roll with that!

Less than 5 cards away from finishing the Ariadna units with models released.
Here's a dropbox link for the card base for each faction. Made using photoshop CS6, for fewest problems I sugest using PS CS6 when opening the psd files if you wish to work on your own units.
