Hi,
for everyone who is interested in this great tabletop, there is a great opportunity. Megalith Games just launched a kickstarter project. Have a look at this wonderful game. Can“t recommend it more.

I second this idea! It's got kind of a hybrid Confrontation/Warmachine feel to the mechanics. I'm in for the 2 player deal. And it's almost to the halfway point.

And a new pledge level add on of $71, gives you an unreleased warlord and 2 full units. Normally about $120 retail, so a pretty sweet deal.

I have jujmped on board with this one as well. I like the game playng, the way commanders can doll out command points and can actually have an active affect on the battle. The factions seem to be varying degrees of historical and fantasy mixed. I especially like the Wyldmen with the celtic, and old world feel. Plus with the subfactions options you have alot more choices per faction so you can change the way these factions play before every game. Easy way to mix it up plus the cost buy in at this level is well worth it.

This is a great game.
It has rules that are both tight enough for tournaments and simple enough for "casual" gamers, it has awesome fluff (there is an extra fluff book that comes with the rules and I would even consider it very good if it was meant as an rpg sourcebook), and with a few exceptions, the minis are really cool too (realistic proportions, good detail, good poses and many different styles in between the factions).
I sincerely hope this will become one of the big games. The quality is certainly there.

"We train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won't allow them to write "feth" on their airplanes because it's obscene!" (Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now)
And you know what's funny? "feth" is actually censored on a forum about a dystopia where the nice guys are the ones who kill only millions of innocents, not billions. |
