I'm thinking of buying my space wolves vehicles all forgeworld... Are they difficult to put together?
Also thinking the extra armour for the land raiders and razorbacks, is that difficult also?
Any advice for putting forgeworld models together? Because i'm not exactly a fan of resin, but im thinking FW would be better, simply because its forgeworld..
List so far:
3 deimos predators
1 LR achilles
1 LR helios
2 razorback conversion kits
2 GW rhinos
2 LR SW Doors (i assume those wont be easy..)
2 Rhino SW doors (same as above :/)
and 2 rhino/pred and 2 LR extra armour...
Pretty expensive, but is it worth it just for something different? It'd cost just the same to buy the models in Australian stores, than it does to buy these from forgeworld, so thats how im justifying it... but are they a pain to put together, thats all that worries me!

All GW stuff in Australia costs more. Buying those Predators and having them shipped to the other side of the planet costs (roughly) the same as buying it from a store.
For the OP, an alternative you might want to look into is Chapter House from the US, who do two SW upgrade kits for Rhinos.

They can be a pain to glue together if its just resin but seeing how the kits you want are plastic and resin kits it will be alot easier.
Recommend a good quick drying superglue (plastic glue won't work) I use QuickFix super glue myself, works a treat
I'm in the same boat as far as buying Forgeworld models over normal GW as I'm paying the same price for better quality models

Advice: Clean them thoroughly before trying anything like glue or primer. You'll want to wash them with warm soapy water and then rinse them properly.
Also gives you the chance to straighten out any bent pieces.

GW is an element of British Imperialism. They hate the colonies. Canadian prices aren't quite as bad as Australian Prices, but they are getting there. We pay about $70.00 for a predator. Americans pay about $58, despite the fact that our dollar is slightly stronger than the US dollar.

You'd think the US would be charged more for having the audacity to actually fight for their freedom, still I would hate to have to face those even higher prices not that I can afford GW as a student anyhoo

OP, that's a good point actually, I never really thought about it, but they are about the same price aren't they? That means...... FORGEWORLD HERE I COME!

It means Australians have some damned stylish armies.
Maybe that's GW's long-term goal, to make Australia have the coolest looking 40k armies on the planet, and then move the business there entirely.
AHA!, I've found the master plan.
In truth, however, GW's regional pricing is nonsensical, and like so many things about their business policy, it's a holdover from before the internet. With the advent of online retailers and affordable global shipping, no ANZAC is going to buy direct from local GW stores when they could order Forgeworld, or buy off of Ebay, Amazon or direct from American and British online stores.
If my local FLGS didn't offer US prices, I'd be buying FW too with Canadian prices the way they are. That 10-20% markup, depending on the model, pushes GW beyond FW, and many of these models are ancient, and not worth being half of their current price. $78 for a predator? That's cute, or $22 for Abaddon's 2nd edition ugliness. It's no wonder that the former 5 GW stores have been reduced to 1 in the region, while all the local, unaffiliated stores offer US prices and remain comfortably profitable.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

1) Definitely wash in warm soapy water, with a soft toothbrush as well to get into the gaps. T his is because the mold release will cause glue to eventually loosen and paint will just flake off. Do Not Skip This Step
2) If you have wonky pieces (you will) use warm water to immerse and bend to shape. It may take repeated attempts to get some of the bigger pieces straightened out, but be patient
3) Get the best superglue you can get, gap filler is good. IF you dont normally pin, I would recommend it on some joints - winged beasts etc If you go for a warhound, do this on all the toe joints!
Have fun. THey are a lot of work, but look amazing!
