I was thinking about trying to use shock prows on my raiders for a fun list, but have no idea how to go around it, and what units I should have insaid raiders. Tactics and uses from Dakka please come to my aid!

I run 4 squads of wracks in raiders with aethersails, TGL, and shock prows. I turboboost them all up turn 1 and than tank shock the footslogging units turn 2. I have had great success with them especially when their coupled with TGL's, recently I played a game against tau and was able to tank shock like 3 squads of firewarriors and a squad of pathfinders off the table, and almost a deathstar crisis unit too. They are very practical for their points.

I feel like this is likely less effective as the point's in a game get higher.
Even if your average unit is Ld.8, they'll still fail their Ld check less than half the time. Dedicating ~2 Raiders per enemy unit just seems to be a steep price, especially against MSU armies, not to mention armies with Ld. buffs (almost every army.)

If it's fun, enjoy it though. Tank Shock is one of the best parts of this game

well if they fail their morale theres a decent chance they'll retreat off the table, and if they pass then you liquifier gun them to death, either way its a win win, sorry I guess I should of added that I have 2 liquifier guns in each squad.

As far as the rest of the list goes, depending on what point level your playing at I usually have 1-2 squads of reavers with heat lances and a squad of haywyches in a venom, which also turboboost up with the wracks turn 1. My 2000pt list goes something like this:

I believe the list is about 50pts shy. You could drop a squad of wracks and reavers to get you close to 1500pts if you'd like.
