I know this is an incredibly noobish question...I just can't seem to find the answer in my codex or rules.

Is it possible to give independent characters specialized wargear in the 6th edition?

Could Ezekiel of the DA be given a bike?

Named character comes as they are. You cannot modifiy their gear. The answer you seek is simple : Ezekiel does not have any option listed in his section in the army list.

Belial has option for exemple, you can swap his wargear. It is listed clearly in the army list.
