.)Allied teams regardless of the armies chosen are to be considered “Allies of Convenience” per page 112 of the 6th edition Warhammer 40K rule book. Any two armies may be allied in the Twin Linked tournament.

.)Team Comp score is based off the combined 2,000 points of both armies.
.)Special abilities from one army can not be used in any way to “buff” the other. Additionally, troops from one team member may not ride in transports controlled by their teammate. If any clarification is needed please ask the T.O. prior to the tournament.
.)Only troops disembarked from transports count as scoring. AKA “Boots on the ground”
.)Objective markers on 40mm bases will be provided by the T.O.
.)Objective markers are considered to be impassible terrain.
.)Each team member must bring 5 detailed copies of their army list, 1 copy for the T.O, providing copies for each opposing team and 1 copy to retain for themselves.

.)Each team must bring all materials needed to play games, including dice, measuring tape and templates.

.)Teams using armies from the same codex(s) may not choose the same named characters.
.)No player may have more then a single named character on their army roster costing more then 199 points.
.)Teams must choose one HQ figure or single model to be their overall Force Commander. This selection may not be a unit, but must be a single model. “Bodyguards” or “Retinue” are excluded and thus unable to be declared as the Overall force commander.
.) Players are not allowed to double up on units other then troops. Such as Duel Hell Drakes or double units of flamers.
.)Models being used for “counts as, proxies or custom” must be approved by a T.O prior to the start of the tournament. Players wishing to use models which are only available from “Forge world” must use the forge world model in question and provide either the Imperial armor book showing all rules for the model or must be able to give a printed copy of the rule set from the IA book to their opponents. Anyone using custom or “counts as” models which weren't approved by a T.O prior to the start of the tournament may be removed from play by the T.O and be ineligible for use during the remainder of the tournament.
.)Each team will receive a composition score based off the combined totals of both armies. Teams are required to fill out a composition form listing the total points used by each player per each section then totaled together. Prior to the start of the tournament each team is required to submit copies of both army lists attached to their team comp sheet. Each player must bring 1 HQ & 2 Troop selections. Each team is allowed 0-2 Fast attack, 0-2 Elites and 0-2 Heavy support per 2,000 point combined army. No more then 2 models with the flyer special rule will be allowed per combined army in this tournament.
Teams are allowed to spend up to 500 points on Forge-world models or units, however Imperial Army lists will not be allowed. Players may use Imperial Armor Special or named Characters. Only Forge-world units stamped as "40K Approved" may be used. Any selection listed as either "Apocalypse" or greater then "heavy" will not be allowed in the Twin Linked team tournament. Anyone wishing to use a Forge-World selection out of any I.A. book must have the actual model in question, no "counts" as will be allowed.
However, if Forge-world doesn't produce an actual figure for a special or named character then an approved "counts as" figure may be used with the permission of the T.O. prior to the start of the tournament.
