I can't seem to find a 6th Ed pdf for this, does anyone actually use it? d3 Str 5 ap 4 Ordnance Barrage hits on every unit in 12" sounds like the perfect antidote to foot lists in 6th.

The Death Storm Drop Pod is in Imperial Armour Apocalypse II.

The FW 6th Edition Vehicles Update pdf located here doesn't include the hull points for it, but I would assume 3.

At BS 2, not so awesome :( 95 points for an essentially one use weapon is kind of expensive, especially when it misses 66% of the time? or am I wrong and it's awesome in practice?

The thing with Ord barrage even if you scatter horribly there's still a chance you can barrage back in.

Do you encounter much opposition from your opponents using it?

The original deathwind was one.of the things that gave forgeworld a bad name, but the updated one is nowhere near as broken, its pretty good in practice.. Appart from the assault cannon one anyway
