Spread out.

Or if that doesn't work for you, ally in Coteaz.

Pretty much just spread out. Then proceed to shoot him a gak ton with bolters. He'll go down. The quadgun can work, but due to Marbo's pin point deployment it's normally easy enough for him to avoid LoS.

Yeah just accept that he's going to do some damage and then shoot him with bolters until he dies.

If you have a really good squad you're worried about, combat squad it so he can't target them both. (careful about kill points of course).

Use some infiltrating scouts in the terrain nearest your most vulnerable squad to deny some space. Though that being said, I dunno the full details about how he deploys only gone vs marbo once or twice back in 5th

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

just use your quad if your taking one to shoot the crap out of him before he can shoot/toss his bomb

Just remember, he can only really get one thing. He WILL reach that one thing, but if you're bringing multiple threats and not relying on one key unit to win, you'll be ok.

Marbo excels at freaking out people who aren't used to him. His insane abilities, the ability to literally place him wherever we want (no scatter, no mishap, etc.) and that demo charge tend to cause people to over react to him. The fact that you're worrying about him shows that the other guy is using him right.

He's more a pyschological weapon than anything. Spread out, keep him from having choice spots to camp out at (IG players love to stick him in ruins for example) and make sure you have multiple ways to deal with something.

He will make it in, and he will hurt, but if you wrote a good list and make sure not to put all your eggs in one basket, you'll be ok. And for the love of god, don't let him survive that first turn he comes in, because if you think he's scary with just the demo charge, wait till you see what he can do to a tankline with all his melta bombs, krak grenades, and a friggin ap 2 sniper pistol.

Deploy your guys in cover. Make cover saves. Turn and shoot him to bits.

He's a one trick pony.
