So the wife was amazing and let me order two boxes that can make the Spriggan, Devastator, or Demolisher.

I know that one will definitely be a Devastator, just not sure what the other should be.

So help a brother out here!!!

Buttons Should Be Brass, Not Gold!

Soviet Kanukistan

Spriggan:
Pros: P+S18 Reach. Flares to remove stealth, Shield
Cons: Grenades are garbage POW

Demolisher: (disclaimer: Theorymachine)
Pros: High powered blasts from P+S15 guns, gunfighter lets Demolisher fire in melee - NOTE: Not virtuosso, so can't swing with fists AND fire guns, Girded
Cons: Low range on guns, ARM17 if it attacks
Intangibles (Theorymachine): Girded can be used to keep squishy infantry safe from blasts. Squishy high DEF infantry can be used to block enemy charges after it opens for business.

Reach is king in any faction with low base SPD values. I'd go for the spriggan.

magnetize them.

that way you can have them swap roles between battles.

why build it as one, when you have the option to have it play all roles?

Depends entirely on what caster you're running. pButcher on feat run just makes the Devastator rude, as does pVlad with S&P. Spriggans love lVlad (feat and infernal machine).

And one thing to do (if you pick a Devastator or a Demolisher) is 2-handed throw the thing with Conquest. At most the 'Jack will take 5 damage from the lob (if Connie rolls 2 6's for damage). Really freaks your opponent out. Even moreso if you're using eIrusk and have not popped your feat yet.

I have nothing to add here other than congrats on having a super cool wife. mine is pretty rad too. Only one 'jack box rad though... i'm not sure about two.

ogryn flesh: like beer goggles for miniatures.

I just am not a fan of magnitizing stuff. I pin the heck out of it.

Khador jacks are some of the easiest to do! Though the Spriggan kit can be a bit tough on those shoulder bits. But really it is not to hard to do and absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Just don;t swallow the magnets!

Sounds like your wife is cool, but that is why we each get an allowance each month. I never have to ask permission to buy minis. If I got money I can buy them. If not, I gotta save up. Also works great if she wants to go to Starbucks, or out with her friends, etc.

I'm not gonna swallow them I've just had bad times with magnetized parts in the foam.

Well, it all depends on what you want from the miniature. I use the Dev as an annoyance to the enemy. I used the Spriggan when I want to hit something hard. Also, I use the Spriggan as a body guard for my caster because if you get that close without dealing with the Spriggan you are going to get your butt handed to you.

Don't glue the magnets to the foam, either.

Here is a link on how to magnetize the other Khador chassis. Might give you some tips.
