Hi all just wondering do the Grey Knights use the normal weaponry that other Space Marines use like Bolters and bolt pistols? or is that not enough for them, so would the weapons i mentioned before be in the Grey Knights codex?

GK (marine statline) infantry don't use bolters or bolt pistols at all (techmarine excluded),

GK infantry only has access to Stormbolters, Psycannons, Psilencers and Incinerators.

If you want to have any other weapons, you basically need to use either henchmen or vehicles for those.

But where would one find these henchmen or the parts to make them?

You can use IG kits and \ or SoB for henchmen units.

You can buy the henchmen from GW, or do some conversions and make your own. As far as the weapons go: some of the standard Space Marine weapons are in the GK codex, but the back of the 6th edition rulebook also has stats for almost every weapon in the game.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

There isn't a specific henchmen model or kit. There are a few models of specific types of henchmen, but for the most part you will have to scratch build or convert.

But GKs themselves use NFWs and Stormbolters as their main weapons. With psycannons, incinerators, and psilincers as special weapons.

So my henchmen conversions were a little easier since i decided to convert all my grek knights to by Deathwatch Space marines, thus I purchased this conversion pack.

I used some of the heads and all of the shoulder packs to make 20 Deathwatch strike squads, 10 Deathwatch xenos purifiers, and 10 Deathwatch Vanguard Vets. So what did I do with some 40 bolters?

IG guardsmen plus metal bolters = amazing henhcmen. It's a very easy conversion by cutting off the lasguns and placing the bolters in their hands instead. I used Plastic Chaos Warrior with all the chaos symbols shaved off, equipped with axes and space marine combat shields as crusaders. I ahve Woodelf gladeguards with their bows cut off and replaced with axes and swords painted in Assassin creed schemes as my Death Cult Assassins.

If you want to field any of the other models under the henchmen group, I have all kinds of conversions, and ideas. These are just the major ones people field. Let me know and I can send you the info.

Yeah, telling people how this and that is 'garbage' and they should just throw their minis into the trash as they're not as efficient as XYZ.
