Hi all I'm new around here and I'm hoping that this is being posted in the right section. I'm going to be getting some comissioned work done (Space wolves HQ characters) and was hoping to get a display base of somekind so that as each Miniature is finished I can place them on the base and by the end they will look quite uniformed. Do any of you know companies that make this kind of thing or places that do comissions for this? Am hoping for a winter base of some kind.

Display boards are suprisingly easy to make. I made mine in one afternoon.

The trick is to ask the guy who is painting your models what he is using for the base. That's what you want to use on your display board.

If you ask him to make one for you, i'm sure he would -- but I would suggest doing it yourself. Quality painting skills are not something you can do yourself in a few hours. It takes lots of practice and skill to paint like that.

Making a display board is easy in comparison. All it takes is come sand from Home Depot, a cork board, some spray paint (I would get texture spray paint form Home Depot), wood glue, and some painters tape.
