I have 3 groups of 6.
2 groups have2 lances (meq hunters), and the other group 2 blasters (inf hunters).
Gravtalons &caltrops.

Now do I understand this following statement correctly?

"The Reaver jetbike counts as an Eldar version so they can make a free assault move as well. If you've equipped your Reavers with melta lances it's fairly easy to move up 12", pop a couple of melta lance shots (18" range) at an enemy tank then finally use the free assault move to jump back behind LOS blocking cover. I typically will place mine such that only the Reavers with melta lances are out in the open to negate any cover save for my opponent then finally use the free assault move to jump them back out of sight again."

Yes?

Yes, you can use the jump move in assault, part of why they are good in 6th.

Blasters are not for infantary hunting...they are for tanks and MC's. 2 heat lances are not bad against MEQ, but they should not just be shooting those casually. I would rather use bladevanes.

Grav talons are crap. Cluster caltrops are pretty good, but you better be turbo boosting most of the game(so shooty upgrades are a no no a squad with caltrops).

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Blasters are effective low AV vehicle hunters.
Heat Lances are not really effective at anything except suicidal AV14 attacks.
neither is particularly good at killing meq or inf

If you want to kill infantery with them take the S6 bladevane attack thing. Works like a charm.
