So I'm attempting to magnetize heldrake wings for easy storage and transportation. The only problem is I can't seem to get it to work well.

If I'm making the kit like the directions tell you I can only see 2 ways of magnetizing. I can keep the arms off with the wings glued on and then magnetize the arms (may have to pin them too). Just have to get bigger magnets for this (only have magnets for magnetizing arms and bolters).

Or I can magnetize each individual wing and just attach them to the arms.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any pictues they could provide? I've googled and found nothing useful.

I bought larger magnets and carved out the ball joints that connected each wing.
Was fairly easy to do.

I also used this guide so I can swap the weapons: http://greenstuffindustries.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/magnetizing-heldrake.html

Do you know the size of the magnets you used? I may just go ahead and do that for ease and to get them ready for the weekend.
