Does anyone know a good and cheap way to make a tyranid mysetic spore? I haven"t been able to find any of those "plasma hatchers" toys that people are using.

Not sure on the shipping, but that's about as cheap as you'll get. People on Amazon/eBay are charging silly prices as I suspect they're OOP.

Mine are Plasma Hatchers which may be OOP.

However, there used to be half a dozen good alternative pods on the market, at various prices.

If you are handy, you can grab a couple of expanded polystyrene eggs from Hobbycraft, and get busy with the putty.

Use a can of great stuff and a properly shaped tupperware to shape it, takes about five minutes to make, a day to dry, and bam you have spore pods. I made nine including trial and error out of one can.
