Anyone have ideas for some good conversion or kitbashes to use as chaos chosen? I love the Gw models but $45 for 5 guys is a little expensive. I could just use warriors painted different from my main ones, but that's kind of lame.

But the Citadel models are insane, some of the best models in the Fantasy line.

You're exactly right. I love them.

The only ones I've found on ebay are barely cheaper than new, except of course they are metal. I might have to just pony up and get them--- too bad I need 15 for my army.

I haven't seen them on any other sites that sell Finceast, which is weird. I picked up a Finecast hellcannon for like $10 cheaper than list the other day, but no Chosen to be seen.

You can't use them in GW, but look here, at the warriors of apoc. There are large plastic boxed sets, for a bit cheaper than GW.

The Dark Vengance chosen models are abundant on ebay, almost alway at less that $10 for five models, and often with the Lord thrown in.

You mean from Avatars of War? As far as I know they stopped making them temporarily because of mold problems. Please let me know if I'm wrong, and where I can buy them from.

Looking for Fantasy, not 40k.

Well I've seen some neat conversions with the plastic chaos knight parts. Like warrior legs, and knight torso and arms. They end up looking damn similar to the actual chosen if done right too. Now if you buy the bits individually, as opposed to sinking your money into a box of knights, you could make 10 chosen fairly cheaply, I imagine.
