For anyone local or interested in taking a drive to get out of the cold this coming weekend Feb 22-24, there is a regional game convention being held in Manitowoc, Wisconsin north of Milwaukee. It's being held at the Manitowoc County Expo Center literally right off the I43 freeway. The convention runs this Fri-Sun. The convention has been going on for a number of years and is very well regarded and a lot of fun with a range of gaming taking place including miniatures, board games, role playing, etc.

On Sunday, Feb 24th, they are holding an 1850 point Warhammer 40K tourney. Three rounds. Painted and based armies will get entrance priority. Current codeces (including Dark Angels) or White Dwarf official updates only. This is a WYSIWYG tournament. GW or scratch-built models only. Registration from 9-10 am games start right at 10:15am. Prizes, surprises,and more. $5.00 entry fee. Fortifications CAN be used, but they must fit without moving the terrain or they are forfeited for that battle. Three legible army lists are needed.

I will also have a table at the convention selling huge amounts of painted and unpainted Warhammer 40k parts, figures, units and armies, including many pro painted Warhammer 40k armies such as Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Tallarn, Templars, and many others. I will also have a huge amount of 40k parts, loose sprues, Forge World stuff, and hard to find metal pieces!
