Hello, Dakka-naughts. Until now, most of my gaming has been done at a GW LGS in Frisco, but I was wondering if we had more people who played Warhammer/40k in the area outside of a GW store. Don't get me wrong, I love the store, but my time is painfully limited, and they're closed on one of the few days I have off, and even when I am there, the store can be painfully slow, to the point where I could go for a while without a game in 40k or fantasy. I live in Mckinney, Texas, just to give you an idea of where I am, and I know about Madness Gifts and Comic (whatever the official name is) but I've never seen a GW game played there except an intro game to Battlefleet Gothic. Hope to hear from you soon.

Games Workshop - Just because a dog is in the doghouse doesn't mean you don't care for them anymore. But when they crap on the floor over and over again, you need to make it clear that their behaviour won't be tolerated.

Texas toy soldier has 40k tues and thurs evenings. Gunslinger games has 40 thursday night. For fantasy I think hobbytown plano friday nights (info may be out of date). I have seen both 40k and fantasy at madness on friday night. (only time I have seen either played there)

I spend most of my time at the Store in the mills mall, either hanging out or playing games. It's usually not super busy. I don't know what you mean about it being closed though.

This site has a list of most of the gaming places in the North Texas area (Dallas/Forth-Worth and surrounding areas).

Not listed are the HobbyTown USA locations, of which Plano (Park and the Dallas North Tollway) is the only one I know of that has gaming tables.

The mills mall location is great but good lord with traffic it takes almost an hour to get there from where i am in north plano.

I feel your pain. I live near Saginaw and I have to leave 1-2 hours before I want to get there.
