Ok, so the main three heavenfall blades are carried by Azreal, Belial, and Sammy - each successor chapter was given portions of the obsidian to make weapons to link their heritage back to the chapter, and I believe each company master's blades contain a portion (if they use them).

My main point behind wondering is before purchasing the new Belial model for my pure Deathwing Army (you can look up my lists forum wise if your curious) I modeled a look like character that I am planning on using as a Librarian in Terminator Armor (Deathwing Knight Full Hood / Torso / Legs with the Deathwing Sergeant scoped storm bolter and the dw sergeant power sword pose - I sadly like the look of him more than Belial) I think it would be interesting to paint his blade similar to my version of Belial's blade (black painted blade with white & blue tint lighting across the length - maybe a touch of object source lighting across torso and arm) and give him a cooler look (and fluff backing) since hes one of the two hq slots in a full terminator army.

Would there be any fluff backing of a Librarian strapping a blade made with a portion of the obsidian (weaker version of the heavenfalls) like another unforgiven chapter master or company master?

and most importantly .... who all are carrying these blades?

- Just incase no one knows what the heavenfall blades are copy and pasted from lexicam.

"The Heavenfall Blades are master-crafted power swords wielded by the highest-ranked members of the Dark Angels Chapter. The weapons were crafted using a single block of jet-black obsidian; according to Chapter lore, the block had formed the core of a meteorite that struck the Rock, the Dark Angels' mobile Fortress-monastery, in orbit around the feral worlds of Al Baradad.
The mightiest of these blades is the Sword of Secrets, wielded by the Supreme Grand Master of the Chapter (currently Commander Azrael).
Small portions of the meteoric obsidian were also used to craft the Sword of Silence, wielded by the Master of the Deathwing (currently Master Belial), the Raven Sword, wielded by the Master of the Ravenwing (currently Master Sammael), and the Fellbane wielded by Company Master Balthasar.

It is said that some of the obsidian was sent to the other Unforgiven Chapters, so that their highest leaders may wield weapons crafted from this substance." - http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/

I'd have to argue against anyone other than the big three from each Chapter having a Heavenfall from a fluff perspective. I'm mostly going on the fact that Ezekiel, who must be 4 or 5 in the list of big names only Asmodai would be higher to me, has the Traitor's Bane - a relic blade but not a Heavenfall.

So if the big daddy Libby from the original Chapter isn't rocking a Heavenfall I don't see why any of the successors would either.

Countering my own argument if you were running Consecrators they would have additional Heavenfalls if anyone did since they've got all the coolest ish

I guess thats true, I always thought for fluff wise ezekiel had tratior's bane because he had the book of secrets - I was asking around and someone did bring up that in the 3rd ed codex anyone could take a sword of secrets, which is one of the main three now. I think just to distinguish him as a librarian I will prolly do a blue hue with darker blue lighting across the blade so its obvious he's a libby.

But Ya ... having ezekiel not strapping a heavenfall and my no-name termlibby with one could be far fetched.

Well if the 5th company master bal has one (from dark vengence) that most likely means that most of the company masters have s portion of it in their blades. Ya Ezekiel doesnt have one but he does have Traitor's Bane which is a mastercrafted relic blade that has force sword properties. Still dunno if it would be too far fetched to throw one on him that he was gifted for some special deed or campaign action.
