I'm having a hard time finding a good detailed breakdown on what each of Menoth's heavy warjacks do, what synergizes well with them, and how good each alternative is. If somebody could give me a good rundown of each warjack, or link me to a website which would give me a decent amount of information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Look up battlecollage.

Also.

Reckoner is goo with everyone. An amazing jack for 8 pts.

Vanquisher also is amazing and should always have vassal with it.

Redeemer is great bonded with efeora

Repenter with psevvy. Ps15 sprays.

Templar is a good solid jack. Good when its speed is buffed.

Crusader is a good cheap beatstick. Its just slow and lacks reach.

As a short rundown of a good chunk.

But google battle collage and it has tons of info.

Battlecollege is a good place but be careful there not all the info is accurate.

The PP boards have faction specific areas that would probably be a good resource as well.

Worst thing is....

Its a generalization of the rules.

They cant flat out put This jack is MAT 7 RAT 6 With these specific rules.
and in a game where the wording mean exactly what it is..

Overall, most of the info is good.

If you pick up 2 Reckoners, a Vanquisher & The Avatar of Menoth you'll have about 90% of your lists covered in terms of heavy usage.

The Vanquisher melts infantry.

The Avatar is a focus independent, choir independent 'jack that can and will kill almost anything short of colossal, even if it rolls crap for focus.

The Reckoner does everything else, and I mean everything. It debuffs, melee beatsicks, has a 20" shooting threat, always has concealment, has an effective RAT 9 POW 15 crit fire gun when aiming. The only thing that 'Jack doesn't do is wash your underwear.

The other side of the internet

Choir, book, vassals and reclaimers synergize with the jacks.

Its still enough to get an idea of how the Jack works and thats really all the OP is asking.

Here's a link to Battlecollege.

Yes, wording is everything in warmachine so you will need to have the actual cards and rules to make your tactical decisions but BC can help you find something you need.

Reckoner = Best overall and all rounder
Crusader = Cheap Beatstick
Vanquisher = AoE, infantry clearer, solid single target shots too
Sanctifier = Lots of infantry
Castigator = Beatstick with AoE clear
Templar = Crusader on Roids
Guardian = Overpriced Arc Node

Characters

All 4 Character Jacks are insane for different reasons

I would say pick up a Reckoner, Vanquiser and Crusader (the 2 player battle starter is perfect for this)

These will be your 'go to' Jacks usually, Crusader not so much a first pick, but usually a good way to spend 6 points

6+ = 6/36 | Reroll 1s = 7/36 | Reroll Misses = 11/36 ||||||| 5+ = 12/36 | Reroll 1s 14/36 | Reroll Misses = 20/36 ||||||| 4+ = 18/36 | Reroll 1s 21/36 | Reroll Misses = 27/36
3+ = 24/36 | Reroll 1s 28/36 | Reroll Misses = 32/36 ||||||| 2+ = 30/36 | Reroll 1s 35/36 ||||||| Highest of 2d6 = 4.47
