I dont read russian so no idea where to find it on their site but tgn noted that zvezda is making a tank combat game coming out in april

No idea what minis it will have or if it is coming with miniatures.

Zvezda is pleased to announce the up-coming release of World War II: Tank Combat—the latest title in its Art of Tactic series of historical boardgames! This is a great launching point for players new to the game, or a fantastic add-on for experienced fans.

Tank Combat is schedule to release in April, and has a suggested retail price of $29.95.

Hmm....that's rather interesting....might have to keep my eyes out for it, im a sucker for tank combat games...

Also, I have to comment on the fact that the cover art ranks right up there with the Force on Force Enduring Freedom and Cold War Gone Hot covers in terms of laughs (I mean, the covers for EF and CWGH have some pretty odd out-of-place screaming). Who can't laugh at a tank literally crushing another tank on seemingly flat ground

Be interesting to see how it differs from the existing AOT game. From the cover art it looks like its covering the same period as their existing range.

5th of July this year marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of Battle of Kursk so no surprise Zvezda will be releasing some more armoured fun! Hopefully they'll be bringing a lot more 15mm toys to the table -something like T-34/76 mod.41-42, T-60, SU-152, SU-122 and SU-76 and I'll be a very happy wargamer

I came, I saw and I'm still playing.

True, the SU's in 15mm would be excellent

Though from the $30 price tag methinks the base game might just be rules or just a few basic tanks

Sure but at least if there are any new releases included they aren't limited to "starter set only" like with some other companies...

Now availible for pre order at the warstore. 23.99
behemoths of the German Wehrmacht clash with those of the besieged Soviet Union during the tense fighting of World War II.

Two players or teams take command of a squadron of tanks, represented in the game by exquisitely sculpted models, painstakingly researched for historical accuracy.

The Art of Tactic uses a unique simultaneous hidden order system that keeps all players engaged at all times—just like real combat! The six tank units included in the game each comes with its own “unit card” that clearly displays all the combat abilities of the unit and a list of all the orders that it can execute. Players mark their orders directly on the unit card using the included wet-erase markers—which can easily be cleaned before the next turn. Since the orders are written simultaneously and in secret, the key to victory is to outguess, outwit, and outmaneuver your opponent’s every move!

Tank Combat comes complete with six model tanks (in 1/100 scale), four double-sided gameboards, terrain tiles, game cards, player aids, ten dice and two water-based markers. The rulebook includes only those Art of Tactic rules you need to fight battles using only tank units, making Tank Combat the perfect way for new players to experience the excitement of the Art of Tactic. Experienced warriors will want to get their hands on the special veteran tank units with improved abilities—available only in the Tank Combat set!

Tank Combat is fully compatible with all World War II Art of Tactic games, but is best suited for use with Barbarossa 1941 (Stock # ZVE6134). Like all Art of Tactic games, Tank Combat can be enhanced by adding some of the many Zvezda mini kits.

If you're not much of a wargamer and more of a board gamer then that stuff sounds cool

Wonder how big the gameboards are
