Hey guys,

I'm trying to make a stab at a campaign, largely playing out of card kingdom in Ballard, alternate sites at Gary's games and at my residence near the University of Washington. I'm not expecting a weekly commitment, but I will attempt to make myself available every friday, and/or sunday until the NFL starts up again.

I'm hoping to drag in players from around the area, set up some good story line and enable people to develop the fluff behind their own army using the campaign for battles and developments.
I have a planetary missions set up as well as various additional battle missions books, I hope to help create unique missions and scenarios as well.

I myself have Tyranids and Eldar, although I will not be participating directly in the campaign (more of a gm role I imagine) I will be using them as fill in armies whenever someone wants a game or to fulfill a particular role in the storyline.

I encourage the use of a personal character to develop through the campaign and I'm sorting out growth/experience points for improving characters and even unique rules to help them develop.

As the group gets comfortable with each other I'm very open to experimenting with new rule sets and tweaking the 6th edition rules to help balance out new codexes vs older codexes and keep the environment as fun as possible.

Look forward to hearing back from you guys. I'll post a bit of the initial story I've come up with, planet name etc here as soon as I get it past rough draft.

Seattle

It seemed like any other corner of space. A vast emptiness, a handful of tiny particles floating. Murky light from a distant sun. A solitary asteroid the size of a Volkswagen tumbled through the nothingness. A blue flash shattered the visual quiet. Lightning without sound split the void, snapping energy sent the asteroid spinning from it's millennial long course. A pearl of black, darker then the nothing surrounding it steadied and grew, energy spilling out into the vacuum the warp gate solidified into being. Silence reigned.

The Aeritis emerged from the Eldar gate and unfurled it's sails like a winged beast. Power from the distant suns was harnessed and brought the elegant craft to its new heading. Energy cells charged, the smooth shape of the small craft shimmered and diffused. Blending with its surroundings as holo-fields powered up, space seemed empty once more.

Akil Tien swiveled at the steering console, detaching his consciousness from the ship directly, he maintained himself within the infinity circuit. He broadcast a message to all those who shared the ship with him, he suffused the message with an feeling of purpose, and excitement at the coming challenges.

"We have reached the coordinates laid out for us by Farseer Caelis Sol. The anomaly shall arrive in three cycles. If all goes as it should, we shall arrive upon Boros no more then two cycles after that."

In the common room amidships, another handful of outcasts sent simple acknowledgments, mirroring their steersmen's outlook.

Farther aft, deep in meditation within his room, Amenophis Boj the warp spider exarch, brought only a portion of his consciousness to the surface. Tightly reigned, yet forceful emotion permeated the circuit with calm.

Beneath the engines farther aft, within a well secured cargo bay, Sechet Nal allowed the calming emotion to wash over her. She took solace in the confidence their small forces leader evinced. She continued to walk through her daily check list, maintaining the three precious jet bikes they had brought along. If Morai-heg had woven their fate true, theirs would be the task force to discover the missing planet.
