Ok so here is something I'm thinking of building towards. eHaley Squire Centurion Triumph Journeyman Warcaster Defender Arcane Tempest Gun Mages w/ UA Hunter Arlan Strangeways eEiryss Black 13th Centurion would normally be bonded to Haley for the speed buff, Triumph will benefit from TA with its 1 pt higher RAT and ability to pump 2 rounds into a stealthed target if I stand still, for example big scary beasts with occultation up on them, or warcasters/warlocks who get a bit too close. Gun Mages of different colours will control enemy infantry with AOEs if low arm and brutal shots (and crit brutal with deadeye) if high arm, Arlan will help Hunter always get 2 focus (1 from him and 1 from jack marshall) to hopefully get a 4th damage dice, or knock down if necessary. eEiryss will be a pain, Junior will AS the Centurion and advance with the Defender he is controlling. So the army has 2 RNG 16 POW 15 weapons, either of which can fire twice each turn for 3 FOC and 1 which can turn into a blast if I run into a horde of enemy infantry instead of jacks. And it can ignore stealth by forfeiting moment. It has 1 RNG 14 POW 6 AP shot which will be boosted to hit and damage (and has an alright chance of getting a 4th dice for damage when shooting/knocking down the target). It has one model with a decent P+S and crit sustained attack, and another model with P+S 16 as a backup. It just seems like it can look after a lot of different problems to me, but I've only had 1 game at 50 points so far, and that was with a cobbled together list of all the models I owned to just reach 50 vs a well-used and practiced 50 pt list (I got rolled but I learnt some useful things). So yeah that's the plan. Thoughts and criticisms? And Stormwall/Stormstrider aren't an option, they cost too much for me to buy in the immediate future.
