Hi guys,
Opting to taking a break from painting minis I have jumped in to the world of model plane kits! However I've ran into a problem, most of the painting guides opt for enamels which I'm not really a fan of as I've just used them for 2 Mig 29s and the finish is a bit meh to say the least. I've tried to match acrylics from various paint conversion charts and can only find one or two that can convert. I'm trying to get all three shades of the blue/grey camo pattern in the vallejo model color range and have only so far found Intermediate blue(which doesn't look very much like any of the colors that I see in photos of the plane!).
So can anyone help me out?
Please note; As the kits are mostly recommending using Model Master paint I've found that their acrylic range does not seem to available in the UK, I've only found it available in the US and Canada and I'd need to pay very steep import duty which makes it pointless($35 One shop quoted).
