I'm working on a 50-point version of my 'main', somewhat fluffy list for Cygnar, with Sloan as my 'caster. After chewing on it a little over at the Privateer Press forums, I got it down to this:
Sloan (+6)
-Defender (9)
-Hunter (6)
Reinholdt (1)
Arcane Tempest Gun Mages (6)
-ATGM Officer (2)
--Cyclone (9)
Long Gunner Infantry (Full) (10)
-Long Gunner Officer and Standard Bearer (2)
Rangers (5)
Stormguard (Minimal Unit) (6)

There was talk of dropping the Rangers, Stormguard, and possibly the Long Guner UA, but not really much mention of what to replace them with (other than Storm Lances, which I have no idea how to use; they just fit the number). Unfortunately, my thread over there is a little dead, and I could probably stand to get some new eyes on it. So, what do people think?

A few notes on preferences:
1) I'm avoiding Character units as much as possible, because for whatever reason, making a fluffy list and having a bunch of named characters doesn't mesh well in my head. I'm open to suggestions if a named unit is absolutely amazing here, but I've already made that allowance for Reinholdt, so I'm leery of making it again.
2) I'm trying to limit the number of mercenaries on my list, as I'm here for Cygnar, not mercs. Aside from Reinholdt, I'm willing to run with one merc unit, but would prefer Cygnar options--and in keeping with the previous note, I'd prefer generic mercs like Steelheads over named ones like Boomhowler.
3) It's going to be a long time before I buy a Stormwall, if ever, so please don't even bother.
