In this battle report i pitch my slightly altered wraithstar list (its a little static, but i want to test it) against a blood angels army, 1500 points, hammer and anvil deployment, the relic mission. I'm not a great fan of the relic purely for the fact its awkward to play around but such is life.

The Twilight Zone

I recently played the relic with my wraith list. I find the wraithguard and baron make excelent relic guards. You did it right to get in close and nuke things with the wraithcannons, then hit and run as needed to control the middle. Having a T6 scoring unit with fortune guarding the relic really helps the game.

Try to take out those devs asap, and focus on one squad at a time. The sang priests are a pain, try to get a called shot on em if you can.

I sometimes use kabbies on foot, to mixed results. I find them best kept far out of range as objective campers. Try em out with a splinter cannon instead of a dark lance. I have used both, and so long as you keep em cheap and far back they always do okay.

Nice instagib with the ravager. I will have to try running my spiders on foot again...I don't think I have done that since 5th.

Good job. Sounds like it was a great game.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Yer I realky should have the walkers work together and take out 1 unit at a time. Not having guide makes them a lot less affective.

Apart from the issue wuth the cgarge I was hapoy with the warp spiders on foit. Im definitely going to do it again.
