How big of a deal would it be if every black templar was actually in one place at the same time. And with the release of the new codexs showing time progressing in the universe how many bt are their now probably?

How big of a deal? That depends on how close to full strength each Crusade actually is, but they will be many times over the Codex limit of a thousand Marines. It would be a massive shame for the lineage of Dorn considering the Imperial Fists and successors officially embraced the Codex. Their own progenitors the Imperial Fists and other IF successors would be honor-bound to ask them for a split. The other Codex Chapters would probably allow the IF to handle it out of respect for their First Founding status, but if it doesn't work some of them will likely decide to intervene.

It would be the shame a family of cops or criminals feel when one of their own is caught breaking their code, only on a scale where all family members have fleets and huge guns and are being watched by other families that also have fleets and huge guns.

The Black Templars codex states that if the Black Templars ever united under one crusade, they would be "unstoppable".

That said, the statement is obviously hyperbole, though I'm of the opinion that they could at least wreck any chapter in a fight if they had their full numbers with them.

As far as concrete numbers, it's impossible to say. The codex goes out of its way to emphasize that the Templars are far larger than any other chapter currently in existence, but is deliberately vague and Pyrrhic regarding how large their army actually is. The closest number I could find is "around 6000", but I can't find the source for it.

It is believed to be around 5 to 6.000 Templars in existence, spread across several crusades.

But giving how they are secretive about that I wouldn't be surprised if they actual number is like Legion - around 10.000.

Imagine an unstoppable tidal wave the size of an ork WAAAGH all united under one cause, a collective emotion of hate, rage and determination delivering the Emperors message to the unclean, it would be glorious.

There is no definitive answer as to how large the entire chapter may or may not be. I can't find a source for the "5000 to 6000" range and believe it is just an internet invention. Even if the chapter was 10,000 strong that is nothing. There are a million loyalist Marines. Thinking that less than 1% of that would be unstoppable force is a bit excessive. They could certainly wreak an impressive amount of havoc, but would be stopped swiftly by Imperial forces.

I didn't mean against an imperial group just against some random foe.. Plus the fact that they are experts in close quarters, experts in navy action, plus I imagine there entire fleet would be huge to say the least.. They also probably have a rather large armory of tanks, flyers, dreadnoughts, termies, and lord only knows what else.. While I bet they could be stopped eventually that would be as someone else said glorious.
