I finished a new battle report today.

it features Dark Angels vs the TAUs (and yes, the Vespids are present again disgised as Orks)

http://www.40k-frogs.com/?p=118

The mission is The Relic, we deployed on the long table edge and night fiting we in effect from turn 1.

The same disclaimers as last time applies, this batrep is done with badly to not painted at all miniature. I am working on this, but its a slow process.

GG. Kudos to the tau player for trying vespid. Additionally i never really though about using the shas'el in a sniper drone team. Thats actually really good synergy. Wish I had thought of this sooner, but now the new books supposedly about to hit.

Tau player was a bit too agressive for the relic. Really taus best hope of winning relic without allies is to just kill w/e picks it up and make sure you get linebreaker,FB,Warlord. Good use of the HFlamer landspeeders. They really cleaned up

Sorry, been out of the battle report section for a while.

Yeah, he really liked the Vespids since the few times he used them, he made a good number of kills on power armor space marines. The Tau player was previously playing Nidz and he was alsways pretty aggressive so it translated to his new use of Tau. As for the heavy flamer speeder, I was thinking at that moment "Why didn't I model one or two of them with two heavy flamers!"

Now the Tau player has his new Codex and he tried the Riptide twice and also tried commander Farsight and a host of XV-8 body guards and they rocked!

Thanks for watching.
