So I remember a while back looking at a large picture online of a bunch of different space marine chapters. The one I am wondering about was something like the Night Sphinxes.

They were all black, with gold trim. They also had beakie helmets, with the beak left black, and the top part painted gold. I painted one up in this scheme a while back, I think I have the pic somewhere if that would help.

Does anybody know who these guys are?

I don't believe that's it. I distinctly remember the gold on the helmet, and think their name was something Egyptian sounding.

Maybe this will help. I searched but couldn't find anything that matched your paintjob exactly. Several near misses, though. Maybe it's a variant scheme on one of those?

Yea I don't see it here. The closest being the Mortifactors, but I don't believe thats it.... This was like 10 years ago though, so who knows. It could very well have been a custom chapter.
