I might have made it up but can a warlock use a warbeast's animus as a spell instead of the forcing the warbeast to do it?

Yes, just remember when a Warlock casts an Animus it counts as both a Spell and an Animus. So it doesn't become just a spell.

So it can only be used once a turn right? Like both the warlock and the beast cant use it in one turn.

You can cast it as much as you have Fury.

For my Skorne, Rush is a 2 Fury animus. Morgul could cast it 3 times on 3 different beasts.

Pay attention that the warbeast itself can only cast it once each turn, but the Warlock has no such limitation.

Also the Warlock loses access to the Animus if the Warbeast is killed.

Other then that.

Warlocks add all the warbeasts Animus in their warpack as one of their spells.

Warlock Casts it: It counts as a spell
Warbeast Casts it: It counts as an animus

Yes these are two different things that can potentially have 2 different effects.

Example Retribution MHSF ignore spell effects.. but they do not Ignore Animus.

Even though its the same ability.. its cast in a different way.

Warlock Casts it - It counts as a Spell AND an Animus (both)

Blessed ignores them cast by warlocks but not by warbeasts.
