Greetings, I'm a part time grognard, more of a miniature builder/painter who is getting into the sculpting... Just laid the foundations of my first six 25mm to 32mm (we shall see how they turn out before I can figure out where they fall in) miniatures. However I've been painting and building various miniatures for decades starting with GW's LotR Battlegame (and currently building the stands for WotR) and WH40K Tau and Tyrranids.

I got started into the whole miniature gaming idea back when I was 12 and played a MASSIVE Napoleanic battle on a converted ping pong table with THOUSANDS of French and Russian figures on that field. It left quite the impression. Now, I'm getting my children into the hobby with home made terrain and miniatures...

Some of my non-game related sculpture in 1:6th scale:

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Selkath 'fishface'

An independent comic book writer's (Kel Nuttal) creation for his comic "Nothingface" John Novak which I gave to the writer (from the same town of North Pole Alaska!), 1:6th scale bust.

My very first 1:6th figure was a basic clay body dressed in 1:6th scale uniforms and equipment from a bunch of action figures and given a skull for a face

Some stuff in 1" or 1:12th scale (6" tall figures)

Fur detail... Once I unpack this one from move I might finish it...

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
