I play Rezzers, Nico, McMourning and occasionally Seamus.

Enjoy the mix of styles and models. Mostly know what I'm doing.

However the collecter / painter in me is looking for a new master.

When I first saw this game, and friends / clubbers playing it I was drawn to the winter look of Tina, love the ice models and particularly Snow Storm. But someone else was playing her, and no-one had taken Nicodem, so just to be different I bought Nico (and subsequent rezzers) and have enjoyed it, no regrets.

Now I'm looking for someone new in my life, I'm drawn to Jacob Lynch as I like the idea of card manipulation, Malifaux being a card game of sorts. But I really dislike the Hungering Darkness model (although I like Jacob and other crew members). I also have a fairly complete Collodi crew so there is some bits and pieces i can incorporate into Jacob's crew from my current collection.

So my questions are, is Rasputina of a sufficiently different playstyle to Nicodem (in particular)?..and is Jacob sufficiently different from my current masters to add a challenging element to the game for me? Also any suggestions for an alt Hungering Darkness are welcome.

Any input good.

Cheers.

Rasputina I find to be fairly similar to Nico. They both are fragile, slow spellcasters who like to either stay in the back or be surrounded

I am new, and picked up Dark Debts as well as the December crew. I have not played the Lynch crew yet, but it seems very different... I actually really enjoy Rasputina. I think I would recommend Lynch, and find an alt huggy.

My personal first choice was Rasputina... so I would recommend her. :-) She is a lot of fun.

Lynch is the change of pace you're looking for. He plays very differently from all three of your current masters. Most of his crew revolves around making it easier to kill things with his totem the Hungering Darkness, while Lynch himself spends a good deal of time cycling cards through your deck with his Mulligan and Dead Man's Hand spell.

Sadly you're stuck with HuggyD's model, because he's fairly important to the crew.
